Perfect location in the heart of the city, spacious and clean dorm rooms, helpful staff, great amenities, and good Wi-Fi. The ground floor has a cool noodle cafe while the first floor offers a common space with AC, TV, and computers. The second floor dorms have AC and fans, and the beds even have their own small fans. The hostel is near all the interesting spots, including Concubine lane, and is close to the train station. The dorm beds are comfortable and not double-decked. The place is beautiful and offers clean bathrooms, hot showers, lockers, and even a hammock. The chill-out area is cozy, and there's also a restaurant downstairs. The best part? It's all surprisingly affordable!

Located in the heart of the old town, everything is within walking distance. Clean rooms and hot showers are a plus. The variety of breakfast options, including Western, Malay, Indian, and Chinese, is a nice touch.
The atmosphere can feel tense and uncomfortable due to the lack of divide between the family living in the hostel and the guests. There are strict rules enforced, such as not being allowed to take a cup of tea into the room.

I recently stayed at a guest house in the old town and had a wonderful experience. The place was immaculately clean and very peaceful. The location was perfect, with Little India, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner kept the room cool. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing great recommendations for local places to visit and eat. The guest house also had great wifi and a resident turtle, which was a delightful surprise.
I do recommend this hotel.

This place is an absolute gem! The location is bang in the middle of the old town, surrounded by jaw-dropping sights and amazing eateries. The ground floor noodle cafe is mind-blowing, and the first floor common space with AC, TV, and comfy couches is super chill. The second-floor dorms are spacious and clean, with fans, AC, and Wi-Fi. The friendly and helpful staff gave us mind-blowing recommendations for places to visit and fantastic restaurants nearby. The 100+ year old shophouse vibes are incredible, with original wood floors adding to the charm. And guess what? They have a laundry machine, so no more paying for laundry! Plus, the free drinking water and comfortable social space were super handy. a fantastic stay in a quiet but vibrant city, definitely worth a visit for a couple of days!

Complimentary WiFi to update my Instagram, and a common area to watch TV and mingle with other guests. Plus, the strategic location made it so convenient to explore the historical district!
Oh, I just loved waiting in line for the shared bathrooms with my fellow travelers. It was such a great bonding experience!

The location of this hostel was absolutely perfect. It was a quick 5-minute walk from the Ipoh train station and just a short 10-minute stroll to the Medan Kidd Bus central station. I felt like I had the superpower of teleportation, allowing me to easily explore the city without wasting any time on transportation.

We had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse. The location was strategic, with tourist attractions nearby. The owner was very helpful and nice. The room was incredibly huge, comfortably accommodating more than 7 people. The beds had curtains and fans for added comfort. Security was good, requiring a key card to access the upper floors and rooms. The staff were friendly and provided great assistance. The guesthouse operated a trust payment system for snacks and coffee. We also enjoyed the convenience of a late-night Indian restaurant just a few roads away that served delicious butter chicken.
Nothing not too like.
